Trailblazer Heroes in STEAM

Developers: Joey Lee

Who's your hero? Participants will experience various activities that highlight pioneers and trailblazers in STEAM, including designing their own hero cards and various interactive AR/VR activities.

Custom GPTs

Developers: Jin Kuwata

Demonstration and hands-on assistance designing and developing custom GPTs for people. E.g. for teaching, for fun, etc. We'll demonstrate a few custom GPTs, also create a workstation that allows people to design custom GPTs and publish them!

The Strivers of Onyxia

Developers: Dennis Morgan

Step into The Strivers of Onyxia, a prototype VR experience powered by Zoe Immersive. As a determined 9th grader in a stark, two-tone world, you must navigate systemic barriers and scarce resources. Inspired by Settlers of Catan, you’ll strategically invest in academic support, mentorship, and financial aid to forge a path toward Onyxia—a distant, Emerald City-like dream. Each dice roll reveals real-world struggles of first-gen and underrepresented students, blending strategy, storytelling, and social impact in a quest for opportunity.

Playing with Circuits

Get hands-on with circuits! Use paper, conductive tape, and LEDs to create simple circuits, then bring them to life by crafting pipe cleaner critters that light up. Explore the basics of electricity in a fun, creative way—no prior experience needed!

The AI Fun Zone: Five Big Ideas in AI

Welcome to The AI Fun Zone! Dive into the exciting world of artificial intelligence through hands-on explorations. This station demystifies AI by showcasing five big ideas: Perception, how AI sees and understands the world; Learning, how AI adapts and improves; Representation and Reasoning, how AI thinks and solves problems; Natural Interaction, how we communicate with AI; and Societal Impact, the real-world implications of AI. Using engaging online tools, you'll experience these big ideas firsthand, building your AI literacy and discovering the potential of this transformative technology

Sidewalk Math

Sidewalk Math is about bringing the fun play of sidewalk chalk art to cultivating an inclusive MathSpace for all. Sidewalk Math is a powerful space that stimulates wonder, meaningful hands on learning, and engagement across all ages. Sidewalk Math is great for mathematics learning and community building. It is trending as an affordable, creative, and inspiring interactive space that can happen at your front steps. Hands-on Math

Dive into two interactive activities in Hands-on Math: a) Create stunning hyperbolic flowers, and b) explore the projections of cubes. These activities spark deeper thinking about how and why shapes appear the way they do, encouraging participants to uncover surprising ideas that become clear with closer examination. Explore math in a hands-on way that challenges and excites!
